Edit or remove contact mapping rules

Role: Company Administrator.

The Contact Mapping Rules page lets you view all existing mapping rules and edit or remove them as required.

Edit a contact mapping rule

  1. Open the Contact Mapping Rules page (click administration sidebar icon > Administration sidebar > Contact Mapping Rules).
  2. In the Existing Mappings section locate the relevant mapping rule and click Edit beside it.
    The rule details populate the fields in the Edit Existing Mapping section above.
  3. Update the details as required and click Save.
    The updated rule will be applied to:
    • All new contacts that meet the rule’s criteria
    • Existing contacts that meet the criteria whenever their contact details are updated.

Remove a contact mapping rule

  1. Open the Contact Mapping Rules page (click administration sidebar icon > Administration sidebar > Contact Mapping Rules).
  2. In the Existing Mappings section locate the relevant mapping rule and click Remove beside it.
  3. Click OK in the message to confirm your action.
    The mapping rule is removed from the list.
