Edit system notification templates

Role: Company Administrator

You can edit the content in the automatically-generated email and SMS notifications from the Whispir platform to align them with your company’s processes and branding. You can also format the email text and even insert your own HTML design.

Steps

  1. Open the Company Settings page (click administration sidebar icon > Administration sidebar > Company Settings).
  2. In the Settings pane on the left expand General and click System Notification Templates.
  3. In the Select the Template field select the notification template you want to edit.
  4. Update the template’s subject line if required.
  5. Edit the body of the notification.
  6. Warning! Don’t delete any @@ tags or {} variables. They represent system-inserted content specific to that notification.

    You can click rich formatting button to view the rich text formatting toolbar and then format the text. You can even insert your own HTML via the edit html button button. See Apply rich text formatting to message content for more information about the toolbar functions.

    Note: The Rich Formatting button isn’t available if you’re editing an SMS template.

  7. Click Save.
